Tail agencies Tass and RIA Novosti disclosed that the explosion occurred late Tuesday in Bolshoy Istok, near Yekaterinburg, which is approximately 870 miles east of Moscow. Tkachuk is hospitalized in grave condition, while the driver of his car died in the explosion, as reported by Reuters.

Russian social media channels shared images showing the burned wreckage of Tkachuk’s Mercedes car, surrounded by debris. However, no information has been released regarding who might be responsible for the explosion, and there has been no official comment from authorities.
