Sen. Rick Scott Criticizes Senate’s Short Workweek

Sen. Rick Scott from Florida questions the Senate’s schedule. In a Fox News op-ed, he argued that the Senate takes too many breaks and has a short workweek. Scott pointed out that many senators conclude their workweek by Thursday afternoon and head home. He mentioned that the Senate has only been in session for 79 days so far this year.
