Artificial intelligence is becoming more prevalent in the nursing profession. About 44 percent of nurses now use AI in their daily tasks, according to a recent survey. This marks a significant rise from last year’s 15 percent.
This survey included over 2,200 nurses across the United States. It highlights the growing reliance on AI tools in healthcare settings.
However, despite its increased use, over 80 percent of surveyed nurses expressed skepticism about the technology. They believe that AI is not accurate enough to be used without additional verification. This sentiment underscores the need for continued human oversight in healthcare.

The integration of AI tools is expected to continue growing. It will be crucial to address concerns about accuracy and reliability to enhance their effectiveness in the healthcare industry.
