Officials in Washington, D.C. reported that a man was fatally shot by police on a Metro bus. The man had allegedly shot and killed a woman on a sidewalk just minutes earlier in Northwest Washington.
Interim D.C. Police Chief Jeffery Carroll provided details of the incident on Tuesday morning. According to Carroll, the suspect fled onto the bus after the alleged shooting of the woman. The confrontation with the police resulted in the man’s death.
