Antifa Protesters Clash with Students for Life Spokeswoman at Women’s Summit

2 weeks ago 0

During the Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit in Texas, Students for Life spokeswoman Lydia Taylor Davis faced hostility from Antifa activists. The group gathered outside the San Antonio convention center and harassed attendees. Davis attempted to engage them in dialogue, only to be met with hostile reactions.

Davis recounted the tense scene to Fox News Digital, noting that her efforts to have a peaceful conversation led to being called a Nazi and fascist. In a video of the incident, a protester coughed on Davis while another blared a siren in her face. Water was also thrown at her, and the group shouted insults.

Chants of “Oink, oink, piggy piggy, we don’t want you in our city” were directed at Davis. The group openly mocked the assassination of Charlie Kirk, who was shot while speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Utah. One protester went as far as impersonating Kirk, mocking his death.

Davis expressed her shock and frustration at the celebration of Kirk’s death, labeling it as a cruel irony. She noted that the protesters accused her of being a fascist while ironically cheering an assassination for exercising free speech.

A masked individual stated their support for assassinations when asked about their understanding of fascism. The confrontations highlighted the volatile nature of the event, especially for those who support the pro-life movement and conservative values.

Davis recognized the risks involved in her activism, acknowledging the need for security measures at such events. Despite the aggression, she emphasized the importance of their mission and urged more involvement in pro-life activities.

Following Kirk’s assassination, Students for Life saw increased volunteer interest. Davis believes that witnessing violence from opponents can sway more people to join their cause. She remains committed to fostering open dialogue and peaceful advocacy.
