Vanessa Trump, former wife of Donald Trump Jr., revealed on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. In her announcement, she stated, “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
The 48-year-old mother of five thanked her doctors for a procedure conducted earlier in the week. Vanessa expressed her gratitude towards her family and friends, emphasizing the importance of their support during her recovery. She requested privacy as she focuses on her health.
Ivanka Trump, her former sister-in-law, responded with support, saying, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”
Vanessa’s diagnosis comes shortly after her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, returned from rehabilitation in Switzerland. Tiger was involved in a car accident in Florida, facing charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a urine test. He pleaded not guilty on March 31.
Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. married in 2005 but divorced in 2018. They have five children together: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe. Kai, the eldest, is known as a social media influencer and competitive golfer. She expressed her admiration for her mother in a Mother’s Day post, thanking her for her love and support.
In related news, Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, also announced a breast cancer diagnosis in March. She shared that she is grateful for her medical team’s early detection and the support from President Trump.
