Secretary Rubio, speaking from Manama, Bahrain, has highlighted the extensive response by the US government to aid Venezuela after two destructive earthquakes. Rubio confirmed that immediate measures include the deployment of search and rescue teams, medical supplies, and humanitarian assistance, all focused on life-saving efforts.

President Donald Trump has emphasized a commitment to assist Venezuela, stressing collaboration with international partners to manage recovery efforts and ensure long-term stability.

Military Relief Efforts

The US military continues its relief operations in Venezuela. Recently, they delivered the final batch of 10 U.S. Marine Corps Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacements (MTVRs) to help earthquake victims. These deliveries are part of broader humanitarian aid efforts aimed at significant logistical support for affected communities.

A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster transported the last 10 MTVRs, which will be essential for ongoing relief missions in Venezuela, according to U.S. Southern Command.

Humanitarian Assistance Coordination

At Simón Bolívar International Airport, the US military’s Humanitarian Assistance Coordination Center (HACC) collaborates with local authorities, the State Department, and various agencies to support disaster relief operations.

Infrastructure Support
