Kyle Bickham was identified by relatives as the victim who died on September 7 after being pushed from a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train. According to police, three individuals were involved in the incident, which occurred during a conflict on a Red Line train around 2:40 p.m. The victim made contact with the electrified third rail before being struck by another train. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Chicago Police Department charged a 15-year-old girl with first-degree murder, along with other serious felony offenses, including mob action and felony assault of a transit worker. The police have not yet disclosed whether they have identified other suspects, but investigations continue.

Chris Bickham Jr., Kyle’s brother, initiated a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral costs. “Kyle was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend,” he wrote on the fundraising page. He described Kyle as light-hearted, comical, and nurturing, always spreading joy among those around him. The family seeks support to provide a proper farewell for Kyle, honoring his memory.
“Kyle was loved. Kyle mattered. His light will never be forgotten,” Chris added.
