Teen Arrested on Felony Charges in Georgia

A 15-year-old named KJ Biermann was arrested and charged with two felony counts related to an incident in April. The charges include aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy. The arrest took place in Alpharetta, Georgia. KJ, whose full name is Kroy Jagger Biermann, is being tried as an adult due to Georgia’s SB440 law. This law allows teenagers aged 13 to 17, accused of certain violent felonies, to be tried in adult superior courts.

KJ’s mother, Kim Zolciak, known from “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, has publicly denied the allegations against her son. In a statement, she described the claims as reckless and deeply concerning. She emphasized that her son denies any involvement with the accuser or the conduct alleged.

According to Zolciak, KJ voluntarily underwent a polygraph test regarding these accusations and passed. An examination also reportedly showed no DNA belonging to KJ. Furthermore, Zolciak pointed out that the accuser has made similar allegations against two other individuals, suggesting this should be thoroughly investigated.

Zolciak stressed the serious impact of false accusations. She noted that such claims can harm both the accused and true survivors of sexual assault. She urged for every authentic allegation to be scrutinized based on factual evidence. She also mentioned the need to avoid public condemnation solely based on accusations.

KJ is currently held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. He awaits a preliminary hearing in September. KJ is the eldest son of Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak. The couple has other children, including Kash, 14, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12. Zolciak’s daughters from a previous relationship, Ariana and Brielle, were adopted by Kroy Biermann.

In 2023, Zolciak and Biermann each filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage, withdrawing the initial filings two months later.
