2 weeks ago 0

Taylor Swift is generating headlines for several reasons lately, notably her recent wedding to Travis Kelce and her contribution to Toy Story 5. On social media, she expressed her excitement about being involved, saying she has been a fan of Toy Story since childhood.

Swift attended the movie’s premiere on Tuesday, June 9, carrying her original VHS copy of the first Toy Story film. Her enthusiasm was evident when she asked Tom Hanks, a star of the series, to autograph her VHS. Hanks obliged, joking with USA Today that she should have also brought a VHS player along, suggesting it might belong in the Smithsonian.

In another conversation with Variety, Hanks revealed he was unaware of Swift’s song in the film until the last minute. The filmmakers kept it a surprise until the final moments. He explained, “We were taken to a soundproof room and told, ‘The true end titles song drops at 9 p.m., and it’s by Taylor Swift.’ It was a shock even for us.”

Hanks compared this reveal to the legendary Judy Garland singing “Over the Rainbow,” emphasizing the surprise element. This anticipation adds to the excitement surrounding Toy Story 5, which hits theaters on June 19.
