Where to Eat: 25 Best Restaurants in Atlanta

3 weeks ago 0

In Atlanta, Southern culinary prowess is evident. However, the city also boasts exceptional Indian, Italian, and Thai cuisine, along with standout wings from unexpected locations.

Atlas
Located in Buckhead, Atlas offers a New American experience. The dining room ambiance, complemented by Boy George tunes, suggests a fun rather than formal atmosphere. Chef Freddy Money excels in creating dishes to match the room’s sophisticated vibe, featuring velvet booths and classic art.

Dishes include a foie gras and tart cherry jam cookie resembling a Jammie Dodger, and elegant beet gazpacho with a salad adorned with smoked goat cheese and herb blend. The lamb dish showcases five unique cuts, each with its own flair. Pastry Chef Nicolas Grosse impresses with desserts like frozen roses and Southern honey, and his Ferrero Rocher interpretation.

For a different experience, try the less formal adjacent room offering an à la carte menu.
