Actor Zendaya arrived for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles on Monday night. The event was hosted by Mariska Hargitay, known for her role in Law & Order: SVU. The ceremony aired on NBC and Peacock, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
This year’s awards considered shows that were broadcast between June 2025 and May of the current year. On the drama side, notable nominees included The Pitt, Pluribus, The Diplomat, and The Gilded Age. For comedy, contenders included The Bear, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Shrinking, and Widow’s Bay.
Mariska Hargitay attended the event alongside her husband, Peter Hermann. Numerous actors graced the red carpet, such as Steve Carell and Noah Wyle. Lukita Maxwell and Lisa Ann Walter were also present during the awards. Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs made an appearance at the ceremony.
Hosts and actors Alan Cumming, RuPaul Charles, Denée Benton, Jeff Hiller, and Kristen Kish participated in celebrating the Emmy Awards. Each brought their unique style and charm to the red carpet event.
