Arte Moreno has finalized an agreement to sell the Los Angeles Angels to Stan Kroenke, the owner of the Los Angeles Rams. This transaction marks the end of Moreno’s extensive tenure as the proprietor of the Major League Baseball franchise.
Stan Kroenke already possesses a substantial portfolio of sports teams, including Arsenal F.C., Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Avalanche. Kroenke Sports and Entertainment made the announcement on Tuesday. They revealed that the deal is expected to conclude in the first quarter of 2027, subject to the approval of MLB’s owners.
This acquisition reinforces Kroenke’s status as a significant sports franchise owner across multiple leagues.
