A witness recounted her experience to KARE, describing how she heard gunshots while descending stairs in a building, prompting her swift departure to avoid being caught in the violence. Once outside, she estimated hearing between 25 to 30 shots as officers entered the premises.
Police vehicles with active sirens and lights were documented in video footage captured at the scene. The city government has advised residents to steer clear of a wide area encompassing Loring Park.
