Senator Criticizes President Trump’s Relationship with Aide

1 hour ago 0

Senator Jon Ossoff has openly criticized President Donald Trump during a recent rally, targeting his close relationship with aide Natalie Harp. Ossoff accused Trump of prioritizing personal travel over his presidential duties.

At the rally, the Democratic Senator addressed the extended deployments of U.S. Navy sailors on aircraft carriers, contrasting their efforts with Trump’s actions. “While sailors on the Lincoln are engaged in conflict, the president is draining our munitions and oil reserves while neglecting his responsibilities,” Ossoff stated.

Ossoff alleged that Trump was more focused on personal activities such as golfing and stock trading. He claimed, “Trump prefers to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie’s apparently defenseless flying palace, a gift from the Emir of Qatar.”

Natalie Harp, aged 35, recently accompanied Trump in a plane-swap due to a potential Iranian missile threat, leaving other key officials behind. Preston Harp, her estranged brother, expressed concerns about her relationship with Trump, describing it as “very unhealthy.” According to The New York Times, Preston Harp claimed Natalie left admiring notes for Trump.

Newsweek reached out to the White House for comments, although they did so outside standard working hours. The story is developing, and updates are anticipated.
