Saquon Barkley Suffers Apparent Hamstring Injury

1 hour ago 0

Saquon Barkley, known for his dominance in the NFL and past as a golf partner of President Donald Trump, has sustained an injury. During the first quarter of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Rams, Barkley pulled up with an apparent right hamstring injury.

According to Dr. David Chao, OutKick’s medical expert, the wet conditions were likely a factor in the strain. The former head physician for the San Diego Chargers explained that while wet fields can prevent knee injuries by making them slippery, they also increase the risk of soft tissue injuries like hamstring strains.

In this particular match, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was seen handing off the ball to Saquon Barkley during the second half of the game in Philadelphia. Barkley eventually walked to the Eagles’ sideline and entered the medical tent for an initial examination. Following this, he proceeded to the locker room for further testing, showing no significant limp.

The Eagles have indicated that Barkley is questionable to return to the game.
