Posing for Playboy was the beginning of Taylor’s connection with Hugh Hefner, a bond that lasted until his passing in 2017. “Hef opened his home to me,” Taylor explained. “I flew on his jet and saw him as a family man.” Despite some doors closing, Taylor valued her friendship with Hefner and appreciated his infectious laugh.
