This event marks Night 1 of Triplemania 34, with Perez competing against La Hiedra, Faby Apache, and Nattie. The winner will secure a title shot at Worlds Collide.

Usually, Monday Night Raw shows The Judgment Day members backing each other. Perez and Raquel Rodriguez have supported Liv Morgan during her matches, and vice versa. However, Perez disclosed to OutKick Dropkick that neither Morgan nor Rodriguez accompanied her during the No. 1 contender match preparation.

“I think they know that I got this. I think they know that I came all the way over here to take an opportunity for myself,” Perez remarked. She emphasized her determination to pursue a title, even with no more opportunities on the main roster due to her peers’ successes.

This Triplemania appearance is Perez’s first, where she expressed excitement for competing at AAA’s premier event. Previously invited to train at AAA when she was 16, Perez shared how her parents initially opposed the idea. Now, stepping into AAA is significant for Perez, aligning with her skills and cultural heritage.

“I’m so excited. I have been training to become a WWE superstar since I was 13… I am Mexican and Puerto Rican, and representing that here as a main roster WWE superstar is really exciting,” Perez explained.
