Rescue Dog’s Unique Daycare Habit Delights Owners

2 weeks ago 0

A rescue dog named Maggie is capturing hearts online with her distinctive behavior at doggy daycare. Tori Parks and her husband, Camden, adopted Maggie, a mix of Staffordshire bull terrier, pit bull, and Labrador, from a humane society when she was just three months old. Now one year old, Maggie regularly attends daycare to aid in her socialization and enrichment.

Each daycare visit provides owners with a ‘report card’ highlighting their dog’s behavior, mood, and activities. Recently, Maggie’s report card drew laughter from her owners, who shared it on her TikTok account, @maggiemoomoo123, on May 28. The card, supported by screenshots from the daycare’s live camera feed, showed Maggie confidently occupying the teacher’s chair, observing the room as if she were in charge.

The daycare staff noted this behavior consistently, and Parks confirms that each time she checks the live feed, Maggie is comfortably situated in the chair. Parks finds this amusing, saying, “I was laughing so hard. What they write in these report cards sums up her personality perfectly. She sits there every time she is there.”

While her daycare behavior is unique, such habits are routine at home. Maggie often sits in chairs like a person, even taking a spot at the dinner table. “She will know when I am plating dinner or if the timer goes off,” Parks explained. The couple welcomes Maggie’s human-like traits, considering her their ‘only child’ and indulging her personality. Maggie’s daycare experiences continue to be positive, as all her report cards receive praise. The family proudly displays these on their refrigerator.
