Reagan National Airport Flight Restrictions for Independence Day Celebrations

1 week ago 0

Reagan National Airport will suspend most flights on July 4 to allow for special flyovers and fireworks as part of the 250th Independence Day celebrations. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) announced that no flights will depart from National Airport after 12 p.m. on July 4.

The MWAA also noted that there will be no scheduled flights for several hours during the early afternoon of July 3. This adjustment aims to ensure a smooth execution of celebratory events planned for the nation’s landmark anniversary.

Authorities have advised travelers to check their schedules, especially for those planning to attend other 250th-anniversary events this summer. This recommendation is essential to accommodate any changes that may arise during this festive period.
