Family medicine physician and Fox News contributor Dr. Jessica Gray joined ‘Fox & Friends’ to discuss the recent death of Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, who reportedly passed away while in rehab.
The cause of Presley Gerber’s death has been listed as “deferred” by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. He was 27 years old. According to Fox News Digital, an examination was scheduled for the following Monday, and the investigation remains ongoing with limited information currently available.
The Santa Monica Police Department is investigating the incident as a “suspected overdose.” Officers responded to a report of a possible overdose at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, September 20. They found an adult male deceased upon their arrival.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Presley Gerber. Currently, there is no indication of foul play, and the case remains open. The determination of the official cause and manner of death will be made by the department.
The family has requested privacy during this difficult time, according to a statement from Cindy Crawford’s representative.
Presley was Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s only son and had been publicly open about his mental health struggles. He often discussed these issues through social media and interviews. Presley was also recognized as the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber.
