President Donald Trump recently dismissed the multiple assassination attempts against him, stating that “only consequential presidents get shot.” This remark came during an interview with his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen.

The second part of their interview covered various topics, including reports of Trump secretly boarding another military jet due to a credible Iranian threat. Cohen, once a critic of Trump, highlighted this as yet another instance of potential danger to the president.

“I’m so nauseated by them,” Cohen commented. “There’s a huge difference between disagreeing with a policy and attempting to assassinate the President.”

Trump humorously remarked on the risks associated with being a consequential president, suggesting that perhaps he should become less consequential.
