2 hours ago 0

Paget Brewster, known for her role in Criminal Minds, apologized after criticizing an entertainment reporter. Brewster initially spoke against a ScreenRant article authored by Shealyn Scott. The article critiqued the reboot of Criminal Minds on Paramount+. Brewster’s original response criticized Scott’s career choice harshly. The actor later expressed remorse on social media.

In her apology, Brewster acknowledged her previous comments were inappropriate. She stated, “Hi guys, I was mean to Shealyn Scott last night and I profoundly regret it. Shame on me for insulting a human being for doing their job. I’m very sorry, Shealyn.” Her message emphasized the importance of kindness.

Scott confirmed Brewster privately apologized. She expressed enthusiasm for continuing to cover the show, stating Criminal Minds remains one of her favorites.

“Criminal Minds: Evolution sometimes feels unrecognizable from the original series,” Scott wrote. She addressed format changes and how they affected the show’s dynamic.

The original Criminal Minds aired on CBS from 2005 until 2020. It returned on streaming platforms in 2022 and continues into its 19th season.
