During his ‘The Great Divide’ tour, Kahan responded to the situation on social media, urging fans to show consideration for venue staff. He humorously noted that he, too, had such experiences in the past, expressing empathy for those who handle these issues.

A TikTok video displayed the unfortunate incident, with users debating whether the mess was indeed fecal matter or possibly dirt tracked in from outside. One viewer humorously suggested that it might have been mud from shoes.

At a subsequent tour stop in Toronto, Kahan asked attendees to commit to better bathroom behavior, humorously encouraging them to pledge not to repeat similar incidents.

Kahan’s album ‘The Great Divide’ was released in April, marking his fourth studio project since his Grammy nomination for ‘Stick Season’ two years ago. The tour supporting the album began in Orlando and is set to wrap up in Paris by the year’s end.
