Let’s get it.’ As a four-time NBA champion, James announced that his 23rd NBA season was his final one with the Los Angeles Lakers. He has now chosen to join the Sixers, a team boasting All-Star players like Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown. These talents have yet to secure an NBA championship since 1983 or progress beyond the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs since 2001.

James, who will turn 42 in December, is determined to replicate the success he achieved in Cleveland when he led the Cavaliers to their first championship in 56 years in 2016. Last season, the Sixers finished with a 45-37 record but faced elimination in the second round by the eventual champions, the New York Knicks.
