Four women have accused actor and musician Jared Leto of sexual misconduct during their teenage years. Leto, aged 54, has firmly denied these allegations, stating, “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false,” according to a statement he provided to The Associated Press.

The BBC documentary, “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” released on Wednesday, explores these accusations, including incidents reported by four women. They claim that between 2002 and 2016, when Leto was an adult, he engaged in sexual misconduct and assault. One woman alleged she was 17 during the time of the assault, another accused him of statutory rape at 17 as well. Another woman said she was 19 when Leto threatened her with sexual assault, while another stated she was 16 when Leto allegedly made sexually explicit phone calls and propositions.

The BBC has stated that it corroborated these accounts, although The Associated Press could not independently verify the claims. The documentary does not disclose the full names of the women involved. The BBC also mentioned that Leto did not respond to their requests for comment regarding the documentary.

Previous Allegations

Leto faced similar accusations previously, with nine women detailing misconduct to Air Mail in a story from last year. At the time, a representative for Leto denied those allegations.
