On August 23, 2026, the Indiana Fever triumphed over the Chicago Sky, securing a 113-90 win at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark showcased a stellar performance, scoring an impressive 37 points and setting a personal record with eight 3-pointers. This contribution was part of the team’s franchise record of 18 3-pointers during the game.
Clark also shined as a playmaker, recording 10 assists. Her teammate Kelsey Mitchell supported the victory by adding 30 points.
Despite the victory, Indiana faced a challenging schedule, closing a 3-2 trip with three games played in four nights. They rebounded effectively after two consecutive losses.
Chicago’s Natasha Cloud managed 16 points and seven assists, while Azura Stevens added 14 points and eight rebounds. Unfortunately, Chicago was eliminated from the playoff race following this loss and a Washington win on the same night.
“We fought hard throughout the trip,” said Clark after the game, acknowledging the team’s perseverance.
Indiana faced the inconvenience of playing without center Aliyah Boston, who was absent due to a right leg injury. Boston had previously scored 22 points and provided six assists in a close loss to New York.
Next, Indiana Fever will host the Connecticut Sun on Friday night. Meanwhile, the Chicago Sky will visit Connecticut on Tuesday night.
