3 weeks ago 0

Engineering experts informed NBC News that following a detailed investigation, the necessary repairs will take several months but should allow the office-to-apartment building project to continue its progress. This statement comes regarding the former Pfizer headquarters in New York City.

On Wednesday, officials reported that the building is “stable” and emergency repairs are currently in progress. This announcement came less than 24 hours after city officials mandated an evacuation of several blocks surrounding the construction site located in Midtown Manhattan.

Despite the stabilization, many residents and employees in the area remain uncertain about their next steps. The building’s temporary status continues to impact daily life around the site.
