An employee shuttle bus accident took place at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey early Monday morning, resulting in injuries to 13 individuals, local reports confirm.
The incident occurred slightly after 3 a.m. on the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway, as reported by News 12 New Jersey. Among the injured, three individuals sustained serious injuries, while ten others suffered minor injuries. Fortunately, none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Video footage acquired by Fox News Digital displayed significant damage to the shuttle bus, showing it pressed against a concrete barrier. The vehicle’s front end was severely crumpled, and glass from the door and windshield was shattered.
The crash site was cordoned off with police tape, while first responders were actively working nearby. The cause of the accident remains unknown, and investigations are currently underway.
Witness reports mention that the injured parties were transported to nearby hospitals for assessment and medical treatment, as stated by WABC-TV.
The accident led authorities to close the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway to facilitate the clearing of debris.
The Port Authority Police Department recommended travelers departing from Terminal B to use Level 2 due to the ongoing police activity in the area.
The investigation into the crash continues, and authorities have not disclosed the cause.
