Drive-By Shooting in Little Village Wounds Three Men

Three men were injured in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday night in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, according to police reports. The incident occurred on the Southwest Side at approximately 8:45 p.m.

The victims were gathered outside on the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when a vehicle approached and assailants inside fired shots before escaping the area. A 27-year-old man was struck in the head and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition. A second victim, aged 21, also sustained a head wound and was hospitalized in serious condition at Stroger Hospital.

The third individual, aged 22, was hit in the leg and transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was reported to be in good condition. The police confirmed that detectives are actively investigating the shooting.
