Dez Bryant Comments on Knicks Fans’ Reaction After Game 3 Loss

2 weeks ago 0

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant expressed amusement at the frustration of New York Knicks fans after their team lost Game 3 to the San Antonio Spurs. Many fans seemingly blamed President Donald Trump, present at the game, for the Knicks’ 115-111 defeat.

The Knicks struggled, committing 13 turnovers and shooting 45% from the field, while the Spurs were slightly better, shooting 46% and only turning over the ball eight times.

Bryant, who attended the game, responded to Knicks fans on social media, saying, “That’s what you Knicks fans get for hating on President Trump!” He highlighted the difference in Trump’s reception at Madison Square Garden compared to the college football national championship earlier in the year.

Knicks head coach Mike Brown focused on the free throw disparity as a key issue. The Spurs took 32 free throws, while the Knicks had 22. “Coach Mitch Johnson and the Spurs won the game tonight,” Brown stated. He acknowledged the fair play of the Spurs but questioned the officiating that led to a significant advantage in free throw opportunities.

Despite the criticism regarding Trump from some fans, Bryant remained indifferent, stating, “Whatever personal problem you got with Trump… go beat your face on the concrete if it makes you feel any better!”
