Dallas Bowen’s Significant Role in Hanover Central’s Success

Freshman shortstop Dallas Bowen has quickly become a key player for Hanover Central. Her influence is both immediate and significant. Senior catcher Sienna Stilley, who is committed to Jacksonville State, speaks highly of Bowen, saying, “I choose her every single time. Whether it be a game-clinching hit or a play at short to seal the game, she’s the one I’m going to pick. Every. Single. Time.” Bowen, though a freshman, displays the confidence of a seasoned player, handling situations with poise. She is known for her hard work, talent, and being a genuine person. Bowen’s contributions have been significant as the Wildcats, boasting a 25-6 record, prepare to face No. 7 New Palestine (24-7). Bowen is hitting .371, with six home runs, leading with four triples, five doubles, 28 RBIs, a team-high 38 runs, and 10 stolen bases. Her sixth home run, a three-run shot, kicked off the scoring in Hanover Central’s win against East Noble in a semistate final.
