As life expectancy increases, the concept of aging is changing. By the late 2060s, projections suggest that around 2.5 billion people globally will be 60 or older. This will surpass the population under 18 years old. Furthermore, those 80 and older are anticipated to triple from 2023 to 2060, reaching approximately 545 million.
