According to screenshots shared with Fox News Digital, this event has garnered significant attention at the Washington, D.C., campus, particularly within the school’s Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapter.

The contest was advertised on Fizz, an anonymous social media platform popular among Georgetown students. The announcement has received over 2,200 upvotes. With an undergraduate population of roughly 6,000, the event has sparked notable interest.

The promotional post read: “Charlie Kirk lookalike contest. September 10th, 2026. Pull up to Copley Lawn to speak the truth while the cost is high.” This statement is perceived as mocking by TPUSA members.

Anonymous Organization and University Reaction

TPUSA is uncertain who introduced the idea, but suspect it originated on Fizz, used exclusively by those affiliated with Georgetown University via a “@georgetown.edu” email address.

One Fizz user proposed that The Georgetown Chimes, a choral group, learn a Charlie Kirk meme song “We Are Charlie Kirk” before an upcoming event.

Another Fizz account shared a post reading, “Happy Kirkiversary, September 10th, on Healy Lawn,” featuring an AI-generated image of Kirk alongside the phrases “Georgetown University,” “Honoring leadership, inspiring truth,” and “Charlie Kirk lookalike contest.”
