A tragic incident unfolded in Frankfort where a 2-year-old child was found unresponsive in a home on Tuesday and later passed away at a hospital. Authorities are treating this case as a potential domestic-related homicide.
Police discovered the child’s mother attempting self-harm in the residence located on the 22700 block of Brook Stone Court. She was taken to a hospital, and her injuries are not life-threatening, officials reported.
Emergency responders reached the scene at 4:04 p.m. and administered CPR to the child. Despite their efforts and subsequent hospital treatment, the child was pronounced dead.
