User Hawkaholic12 recounted that the situation escalated after the Patriots fan behaved disrespectfully and even physically. This description was supported by another user, JoeGurt, who attributed the brawl’s start to a refusal to move. Security personnel’s involvement further increased tensions, leading to a full-blown fight.

“It started over seats. A Patriots fan sat in empty ones that weren’t his in section 314,” wrote JoeGurt. “Stadium ushers told him to move and he refused. When security arrived, he collided with (or knocked over) a stadium staffer.”

The authorities eventually intervened, escorting the Patriots fan out, handcuffed, after the melee drew police attention.
