Legendary singer Bonnie Tyler, known for hits like “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” has recently emerged from a medically induced coma following cardiac arrest. Despite her awakening, she remains in a fragile state of health.

On June 15, Tyler’s team shared via her official website that although she is no longer in a coma, she continues to require intensive care in a Portuguese hospital. The statement expressed cautious optimism, emphasizing that her recovery process is slow but progressive, and her doctors are hopeful for a full recovery. However, this will require time.

The news also conveyed that Tyler’s scheduled performances will be canceled, with hopes for rescheduling in the fall. Her team has requested privacy, promising updates as significant developments occur.

“Bonnie’s family continue to ask for privacy and promise that we will issue further updates as soon as there are significant developments to share,” the statement concluded.
