Exposing oneself near a fast-food chain like Taco Bell is typically not something the staff finds amusing. A recent incident in Florida highlights this when a man was accused of such behavior.
Details of the Incident
According to reports from WFTV 9, Brandon Irizarry, 28, faced arrest early Thursday morning for allegedly having his pants down outside a local Taco Bell. This unusual activity occurred around 1 a.m. near the side door of the restaurant.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office described the scene, noting Irizarry appeared unaware of the deputies’ arrival and had multiple pairs of pants pulled down.
Law Enforcement Response
Upon realizing law enforcement was present, Irizarry attempted to cover himself. However, deputies had already witnessed enough to proceed with his arrest. He was charged with unlawful exposure of sexual organs and taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.
Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly humorously commented on the arrest: “In Flagler County, if you can’t keep your business inside your pants, you’ll find yourself at the Green Roof Inn, swimming with different company than your fish.”
Pet Fish in the Mix
Interestingly, Irizarry was not alone. Deputies discovered a pet fish in a plastic container within his backpack. The betta fish, named “Baja Blast” by deputies, was transported to the Flagler County Humane Society, where it is reported to be “doing great.”
Sheriff’s Reminder
The sheriff’s office took the opportunity to remind locals that late-night Taco Bell visits should result in a “receipt, maybe some regret, but not a booking number.”
This incident serves as a peculiar yet humorous reminder of the community values upheld by the local sheriff’s office.
