Duolingo is set to delight language learners with exciting updates. Starting on June 1, users who maintained a streak of 30 days or more can revive it by completing three lessons in one session.
Previously, users lost their streaks if they missed a day, requiring them to restart. The longest current streak, recorded at Duome.eu’s unofficial Duolingo Streak Hall of Fame, belongs to a user in Bethlehem, who has maintained it for 4,890 days.
Pioneering streak recovery has been the top feature request among users worldwide.
Chief Product Officer Cem Kansu highlighted this update fits perfectly with Duolingo’s 15th-anniversary celebrations.
