Ayotte Wins Primary, Faces Warmington in Gubernatorial Election

Republican Governor Kelly Ayotte has secured an easy victory against her primary opponents. She now faces Democratic contender Cinde Warmington in the general election. Ayotte defeated Republicans Shaun Fife and Bob Wayne McClory, seeking a second term in New Hampshire.

Warmington’s Campaign and Criticisms

Cinde Warmington, a former Executive Councilor, aims to unseat Ayotte. Her campaign criticizes Ayotte’s handling of issues related to President Donald Trump, including healthcare and foreign policy decisions.

Warmington served two terms on New Hampshire’s Executive Council. During her tenure, she was the only Democrat on the body, which collaborates with the governor on state measures.
