Despite this, he accused Ukraine of engaging in what he termed as “state terrorism.” Putin insisted, “One does not negotiate with terrorists,” underscoring his stance against diplomatic discussions with Ukraine under the current circumstances.
A recent incident highlighted the tensions when smoke was seen rising in June from a Moscow refinery following a drone attack, sparking further conflict. This situation reflects the broader challenges in achieving peace between the two nations.
