Trey McBride Climbs to No. 13 on NFL Top 100 List

The Arizona Cardinals’ tight end, Trey McBride, has climbed significantly in the NFL Top 100 list, securing the No. 13 spot for the upcoming season. This list, voted on by fellow active NFL players, highlights McBride’s growing reputation.

During a media session at the Cardinals’ training camp, McBride expressed his excitement about the ranking. “I’ve known for probably three months or so,” he mentioned, referring to his anticipation about the announcement. Last year, McBride was positioned at 65th, marking a notable leap this year.

“To be the 13th, wow, some of those names in front of me, some of those names behind me, there’s some really good players,” McBride remarked. He emphasized the honor of being respected by teammates and competitors alike, calling his placement a “dream come true.”

“It’s very special to get the respect from my teammates, my competitors, everybody in this league,” shared McBride.

Last season proved to be pivotal for McBride, as he achieved career highs with 126 receptions, 1,239 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns. This season comes with changes, as McBride will play without Kyler Murray, who has moved to the Minnesota Vikings. Stepping in as quarterback for the Cardinals is veteran Jacoby Brissett. Additionally, the team drafted running back Jeremiyah Love in the first round, expecting him to play a significant role in the offense.
