Wladimir Klitschko has expressed deep sorrow following the sudden death of his former fiancée Hayden Panettiere. He revealed that his family is experiencing “profound shock and grief.” He mentioned, “She left this world far too soon. Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya.” Klitschko shared these thoughts on Instagram.
Klitschko highlighted Panettiere’s incredible career, which she achieved with immense talent despite the challenges of a demanding industry. He stated, “Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives.” He also committed to ensuring their daughter, Kaya, would continue to honor and remember her mother.
Panettiere, aged 36, passed away on Sunday in Greenville, South Carolina. Police reported that officers and emergency medical services responded to a call about an unresponsive woman at 1:50 p.m. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
On Monday, Newsweek received an initial report from the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, confirming that a 911 call came in at 1:51 p.m. for a cardiac arrest at 701 Easley Bridge Road. Emergency personnel attempted advanced cardiac life support, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. Panettiere was pronounced deceased at 2:32 p.m.
