Trump’s Unexpected Flight During NATO Summit

President Donald Trump secretly left last month’s NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, using an alternate military aircraft. The White House maintained the appearance of him flying on Air Force One. He insisted he was not afraid despite being advised to leave in an unconventional manner, while Air Force One acted as a decoy. Trump discussed this after an event in Ohio.

Minnesota Senate Primary Victory for Progressive Democrat

Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan secured a win in the Minnesota Democratic Senate primary, representing a victory for progressive Democrats over the party’s establishment. Flanagan defeated U.S. Rep. Angie Craig by committing to address corporate influence and challenge Trump.

Trump’s Vaccine Order Sparks Concerns

President Trump’s executive order on vaccines, advocating separating the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine into individual shots, has drawn criticism. Doctors warn this could cause fear among parents, particularly as measles outbreaks continue and immunization rates drop.

Dr. Molly O’Shea criticized the order as untimely and misguided. The order also includes changes to the childhood vaccine schedule, previously halted by a federal judge, with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. backing these moves.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plans to equip officers with gloves capable of delivering electric shocks to manage combative situations. The devices, known as G.L.O.V.E., aim to provide compliance through “conductive distraction.”

ICE intends to invest up to $20 million by March for these devices, manufactured by Compliant Technologies LLC.
