They aim to minimize the likelihood of a harmful encounter and reduce injury risks to everyone involved. Deputies have tactically disengaged while continuing to support Hilton’s family from a distance.
A source told Fox News Digital that Hilton was placed under psychiatric hold under the Baker Act with superficial wounds noted. The Florida Baker Act allows involuntary mental health evaluations when legal criteria are met. This evaluation usually lasts up to 72 hours.
Hilton, also known as Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., became a popular figure in the mid-2000s with his celebrity gossip website. He has recently shared personal changes, emphasizing how parenthood has influenced him. Earlier in the year, Hilton was hospitalized for severe sepsis and complications from the flu.
