Malik Nabers Returns to Giants Practice After Knee Injury

General Manager Joe Schoen appreciated seeing him active at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, marking the start of training camp. Schoen mentioned, “We’ve got a really good plan for him.” The team, according to Schoen, will monitor Nabers’ progress and adapt as needed.

Nabers initially tore his ACL and meniscus during quarterback Jaxson Dart’s first career start while attempting to catch a pass. The incident left the MetLife Stadium crowd in silence as Nabers was taken off the field. Throughout the summer, Nabers stayed in New Jersey to work on his recovery with the Giants’ medical staff. His early-season injury raised hopes he might return healthy for Week 1. Not being placed on the physically unable to perform list indicated positive progress.

Coach Harbaugh shared his thoughts, “It was great. You saw him. He looked good. He’s got a process going.” Quarterback Jaxson Dart expressed happiness about passing to Nabers, who recently celebrated his 23rd birthday. Dart remarked, “There’s an aura that he has on the field that is exhilarating. It makes me happy.
