Jennifer Lopez, renowned singer and actress, shared her thought on what she finds appealing in a man during a Dolce & Gabbana show in Taormina, Sicily. Her perspective goes beyond material possessions.
Lopez, at 56, spoke candidly about her views. She emphasized that the true allure of a man is found in simple, everyday actions. She mentioned that seeing a man make the bed in the morning or wash dishes when one is tired at night is attractive. These gestures, according to her, define what she considers sexy.
“But you know what really makes a man attractive? It’s not the watch. It’s not the car. It’s not the private jet. It’s nice. It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night. That’s what’s sexy. Now that’s what I call sexy,” Lopez shared.
The audience responded positively, as People magazine reported they laughed and applauded her remarks. Lopez delivered several performances, singing hits like “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” “Waiting For Tonight,” “Let’s Get Loud,” “Ain’t Your Mama,” and “Save Me Tonight.” Her attire for the event included a sparkling bodysuit.
Before discussing attraction, Lopez engaged playfully with a backup dancer. Lopez humorously instructed her dancer to fix her hair while emphasizing her independence. She remarked that people view her as expensive, and while she appreciates gifts, she maintains financial independence.
“Fix my hair okay. Fix my hair. But the rest of you, get out of here. You’re broke. I don’t need you. I don’t need your money. I don’t need your gifts. That’s right,” she joked.
Lopez further reflected on her personal growth post-divorce. The star has undergone four marriages, with her most recent divorce from Ben Affleck in 2024 being a pivotal moment for her. During a SiriusXM interview, Lopez described how the divorce facilitated self-exploration through therapy and coaching.
“When I got divorced this last time, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Because it really made me journey into — I mean, I had a religious coach. I had a therapist, a couple’s therapist, an individual therapist. I had a coach to understand addiction. I had everything,” she explained.
Despite the challenges, Lopez revealed the lessons learned from her marriages, acknowledging the efforts of her partners in the past. She stated her newfound comfort in self-awareness, appreciating her identity and accepting complex aspects of her nature.
