Idaho Mother Charged with Murder of Twins

An Idaho mother, Andrea Shaw, has been charged with murdering her twin toddlers. The indictment came after she claimed they died following vaccinations. The 23-year-old was indicted on two counts of first-degree murder, as announced by the Payette Police Department.

Shaw was apprehended in Boise and previously, police reported the children were discovered deceased in a shared bed on May 1, 2025. The indictment suggests the twins, Dallas and Tyson, were suffocated, according to KTVB. Police have not publicly disclosed the cause of death.

Following their death, Shaw and her husband participated in a podcast by Children’s Health Defense, an anti-vaccine organization. During the podcast, she claimed the twins became ill and passed away shortly after receiving vaccinations.

Her attorney, Joe Filicetti, stated he believes the deaths were linked to the vaccines but did not provide evidence. Filicetti also mentioned that Shaw had recently delivered another child prematurely via cesarean. Her husband is currently caring for the newborn.

Initially held at the Ada County Jail, Shaw was later extradited to Payette County, where she is detained on a $2 million bond. During her virtual arraignment at the Payette County District Court, the charges and possible penalties, including the death penalty, were read to Shaw.
