Tourists visit the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Voters are headed to the polls to participate in South Carolina’s House primary elections on Tuesday.

This election cycle features two open seats. Reps. Nancy Mace, representing the 1st Congressional District, and Ralph Norman, from the 5th Congressional District, have both chosen to run for governor, leaving their Congressional seats open.
