3 weeks ago 0

Las Vegas Raiders player Maxx Crosby plans to attend a UFC fight at the White House on June 14, marking America’s 250th anniversary. “I’ve never been to the White House,” said Crosby, expressing enthusiasm for the historic occasion.

Crosby, a successful NFL star, values the freedom to pursue one’s passion in America. He emphasized the unique opportunities available in the country, calling it “a land of opportunity.”

Regarding the UFC fight, Crosby supports his friend Justin Gaethje, calling the fighter a legend. The event came to be when Donald Trump suggested to Dana White during a live UFC match to host a fight at the White House, an idea quickly embraced by White.

“Dana White is like family to me,” Crosby noted, praising White’s capability of organizing remarkable events. Crosby has also met Trump a few times, describing those interactions positively.

Flag Football at the Olympics

Crosby expressed interest in representing the United States in flag football at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. “Oh, no doubt,” Crosby said, highlighting his commitment to the country despite having Balkan roots.

He mentioned his heritage, noting his Yugoslavian background, but stated his preference for representing the U.S., where he was born and raised.

When asked about recruiting Tom Brady for Team USA, Crosby laughed and doubted Brady would come out of retirement, though he welcomed the idea.

Fernando Mendoza’s Progress

Crosby spoke highly of quarterback Fernando Mendoza, praising his adaptability to the NFL. “He’s done an incredible job,” Crosby mentioned, recognizing Mendoza’s eagerness to learn and integrate with the team.

While Crosby mentors Mendoza, he firmly believes in pushing teammates to improve. He advised giving Mendoza time to develop his unique playing style.

Playing for Tom Brady

Crosby acknowledged the unique chance to play for an organization with Tom Brady as a minority owner. He highlighted Brady’s legendary career and his presence as a resource for the team.

While Brady is not involved in daily operations, Crosby appreciates his winning mindset’s positive influence on the organization. Crosby has faced Brady only once in his career.

A New Partnership

Crosby’s interview coincided with a partnership with SAXX Underwear, which intrigued him for its branding and the product’s quality. “I literally wear it every single day,” Crosby stated, noting its integration into his routine. Despite its usefulness in practices, it isn’t NFL-certified for games yet.
